Meeting for Creative Perspective – #2
The Meeting for Creative Perspective occurs every Friday afternoon for designers, writers, and UX designers to have an open discussion about a variety of industry-related topics, as well as quite a few tangents. The meeting’s unstructured nature allows for an open conversation where all can express their interests and be inspired. Because, well, if we’re not working on it, we’re thinking about it.
During our second MCP we previewed new video manipulation software, said hello to the newest concept car from Honda, and decided that robots are freakier than the film Paranormal Activity.
Video Manipulation
You can’t trust photos anymore because digital modification can be so well accomplished. Now, imagine Photoshop in motion… This system “analyzes videos using computer vision techniques, enabling interactive annotation, browsing, and even drag-and-drop composition of new still images using video footage.”

Honda’s Concept Car of the Future, for Tomorrow; New!
Honda previews its throwback EV-N concept car. The mini-like four seater sports a solar panel roof, door-mounted motorized unicycle, and vehicle-to-vehicle communications. It’s as cute as a pug to boot.

Scary Robots
None of us realized how freaky (and clumsy) robots really are until we watched these videos:
