Google Squared
As seems the trend for cool Google tools, another useful offering emerges with little fanfare from Google Labs this time providing head-on competition for Wolfram Alpha.
This improvement to search results structures the data as a spreadsheet, with best guesses for related columns and the ability to specify additional columns as you see fit.
A bit challenging to explain, easy to experience. Click on the links at the bottom of the search page for an example, but start searching your own terms to see the real power. Add related columns and marvel at yet another miracle from the internet’s favored progeny.
