20 Years of Popular Front: 1989

Twenty years ago, two friends from Minneapolis College of Art and Design decided to start a business together. Mike Keefe, a photography major, and Laurence Bricker, a film & media major, worked out of their apartments doing traditional pre-production work. They named their new company Popular Front Studio.

    They were also original members of A-ha and Talking Heads. Right? Or was it Salt-n-Peppa? Milli Vanilli? I was just a kid back then, so it’s hard for me to remember…
