The 7th Annual Driveway Tour

07.01.09 - 08.15.09

Open Eye spends the summer touring a family friendly fun filled puppet show around the city. We will play in any neighborhood that has a resident willing to host us and will guarantee an audience of at least 50 people from their community. We raise funds for this program so we can come to any neighborhood for free – and ask you to help us pass the hat allowing each community to support the program – making it accessible for all. It easy, it’s fun – and we’re not kidding. Contact us for details and sign up today!

There are a variety of show times and locations,  please check the website for the one that works for you!

The Adventures of Katie Tomatie

School is out for summer and Katie wants to do nothing. Planting her favorite tomatoes, she digs too deep in her garden and is surprised by Mr. Boo Boo, a funny skeleton that is full of life and ready for adventure.

Written by Michael Sommers

Composed by Michael Koerner

Performed by: Laura Lechner, Andy Kraft and Jenna Wyse

Accompanied by John McCormick

Little Grandpa’s Big City Adventure

It’s just another day in Little Grandpa’s neighborhood, until alien creatures leave their little baby to take a nap. When “Glubby” wakes up, he is afraid of everything – until T.J. asks for him to help him find his lost kitten. A cross-generational urban puppet extravaganza for all.
